"Shark Tank"

Kaitlyn Thede, tried something new and challenging today. She attended the AgBiz4U “Shark Tank” event at Morningside University Applied Ag./Food Studies Department. She was paired with a student from a different chapter to create a product and business plan. This product and plan needed to help solve an issue in the agricultural industry. Kaitlyn and her team placed FIRST in this competition. We are so proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone to try this event out.

Her team product was for the “Buddy Lift”. Their product would be a hydronic lift that helps elderly or physically handicapped persons safely  enter heavy machinery such as combines, tractors and sprayers. If you see Kaitlyn around ask her about it. She put a lot of heart into her team pitch.
